Realism        7:45, the letters glowed a haunting green on my dashboard as I turned on to my friend's street. Trust me to be the girl who even though she takes off work early, ends up 45 minutes late to a party because she got lost.  
 "What took you so long?" My friend's dad teased when he opened the door for me. "You didn't get lost did you?"  
 "Couldn't get off of work." I lied, praying that he was only teasing me, and didn't actually think I got lost. The man nodded, a knowing sigh passing his lips.

First Snow"They don't have snow where you come from?" Nadia, my boyfriend's little sister asked, her eyes wide. I shook my head, my cheeks flushing.  "No, they don't' have snow where I come from."  
"They don't!" Nadia gasped her voice full of childish wonder. I shook my head again.  "No, where I come from it's always warm, there's sand everywhere and the sun is always out. But it never snows, it hardly even rains!"

I'll ManageI guess I should start by, telling you how hard it's been.  Everytime I see you, it gets a little bit harder to cope.  There are so many things I wish I'd told you.  I know that it's too late now. May be Too Young......

So, I'm having a complete mental breakdown right now. Most of you (or all of you) can just ignore this, I'm simply ranting.

It's almost been a year, in a few weeks I go visit my doctor to tell her about how PCOS has been affecting my life, and how birth control has been helping. I've been looking through the 19 images/posts deviant art has about this condition and reading the stories of other woman who share this condition. My future does not look bright right now. I don't want to say too much about what I've read because they're not my stories to tell, but basically, I've figured out that I will NEVER have children, and if I do he/she will be a SERIOUS miracle. I may be too young to think about having children, I'm only 17. I don't think it really matters, I know I want to be a mommy, and I want to have my own kids. Sure, I plan on adopting, but that's not the same. I will overcome this disease, I WILL find a way to defeat every stupid part of this condition that has made me who I am-and not for the better- I'm too young to deal with this damn condition, I'm too young to think 'someday I might develop diabetes, and I'll be SCREWED over if I do' I'm too young to worry about how many miscarriages will be caused by this condition, how many times I'll have to try to get my red-haired blue eyed baby ballerina.....It's too much for a 17 year old to handle. I can only hope that a cure will be discovered soon, not just for me, but for any girl/woman who has the same break-downs I do.....
